Qualifications, Certifications, and Experience with Computers.

A+ Certified

The A+ certification ensures that the holder of the certificate has the important knowledge and skills necessary to manage, maintain, troubleshoot, install, operate and configure office computing equipment, describe computing technologies, basic principles, adhere to professional standards, and use testing tools. This certification is required to be renewed every year to ensure that the newest standards and practices for computers are well known.

Education

Along with years of personal, and work experience, I also have experience gained from education in the form of an I.T. Support Certificate. This certificate ensures a common understanding of most computer systems, functionality, and various different troubleshooting methods. 

9+ Years of Personal and Work Experience

Computers have been a part of my life since I was young, but didn't have a significant impact until I was 14, when I bought my first computer. Since then I've been using a computer for almost everyday of my life for the past 8 years; upgrading it along the way. From this time spent I've been able to learn the specifics of Windows, hardware, software, and much more. I also have 2+ years of work experience at Staples in the tech department, and 1.5 years in computer data entry. I've been able to turn what started out as a simple curiosity, into a hobby; and now, into my passion. I've always been able to stay informed with the most current technologies and trends, and that is something that I plan to continue to do. 

About the Owner

Born and raised in Sonoma valley, Joe has spent most of his life in front of a computer. At a young age he took an interest in computers by using the family computer whenever he could, and eventually he was able to get his own. His initial interest with computers grew into a hobby, and then into his passion as he learned more about computer hardware, software, and the tech industry in general. 

After refining his computer troubleshooting abilities with both work and education, he has turned his passion into a career, and aims to help those with computer issues share his passion for computers and modern technology.
